The Lilypad Garden & Farms School is a preschool and childcare facility dedicated to the highest quality Early Childhood education and care. We are currently looking for a highly qualified, energetic teacher to love, nurture, care for and teach as a full time substitute/support staff in our 3y-school age classes. This position will entail a full time position subbing in various 3 and 4 year old classes as well as our elementary after school program. We are looking for teachers with strong skills with classroom management and child engagement. The Lilypad Garden & Farms School is a nature-based preschool and elementary program dedicated to fostering curiosity, responsibility, and a lifelong connection to the natural world. We are currently seeking a passionate, dependable Farm Animal Caretaker & Animal Educator to join our team and help care for the animals that are such an important part of our school community.

This position combines daily animal care responsibilities with hands-on educational experiences for children. Responsibilities include feeding and watering animals, maintaining clean and safe enclosures, monitoring animal health and well-being, assisting with farm operations, and leading age-appropriate learning opportunities that help students develop respect for animals and nature. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, is comfortable caring for a variety of farm animals, and has a passion for engaging children through meaningful, hands-on experiences.

We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated, organized, and enthusiastic about both animal welfare and education. Experience with livestock, farm management, animal husbandry, environmental education, or related fields is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential.
